I ate my wafer...

A. I rearranged half of my schedule today, and now have 15 hours, and no classes on Mondays or Fridays. That's right, four day weekends, every week. Also, I swapped "e-commerce" for "law and religion" which not only cuts my paper load from 3 to 2, the religion class seemed very interesting this afternoon, especially compared to the e-commerce class yesterday morning.

B. I have the longest beard I've ever had at the moment. It itches. When does the itching stop?

  • Around the 2-3 week point, as I recall, depending on how quickly it grows.

  • I agree, If you are still itching after 3 weeks, you need to be asking a different question.

Also, it will itch longer if you continue to scratch/rub.

I use dandruff shampo on my beard and it seems to help during "itching seasons."

  • I believe I'm at 2 weeks even at the moment. It does itch somewhat less than before though.

I've been told that shampoo+conditioner may help?

  • Hmmm...at that stage I do remember starting to shampoo the beard as well, and getting some relief from it. But mainly it's just a matter of getting used to it and letting it pass naturally.

I don't know much about conditioner, though.

Are you going to post pictures? Perhaps sign up with the National Beard Registry? ;)

  • I've gone way past the 3 wk. mark on a few occasions and I almost always had itching. Nothing horrible mind you, but it was there. But, I've always had a bit of a dry scalp and just chalked it up to that. I'm all respectable now, though :)
