Blandus has stirred up the ID hornets nest over the Ockamist. To quote Sam, "There is a just division of labor here in the blogosophere," and it appears that this one is Sam's turn. Since Blandus and I have a long history of related arguments, I probably won't be content to sit back entirely, but Sam is doing an excellent job.

This kind of thing occurring on the HBC warms the cockles of my heart. It is the same debates that happened at Hillsdale (with many of the same participants) w/o the benefit of Union tables and chain smoking or E.A.R. sofas and the Simpsons blaring in the background.

I very much hope that Blandus or others continues the discussion, in which case I most certainly will not be sitting back. There is quite a bit of material left to be discussed: David has asserted that ID is mature enough to stand on its merits without expanding on it. I'd like to see my points over in Blandus's comments discussed. Certainly there are other directions the conversation could go as well, and I would hate to see the topic die off early.
