I watched the new released, 35mm digital version of The Battle of Algiers (Battaglia di Algeri) last evening, and liked it. If nothing else, someone should buy Michael Moore a copy to help him understand what unbiased political documentaries look like.

It is highly ironic that you would say that, since the film is a fictional account of a true story, and you're probably right that Moore would benefit from watching it (if he were to actually pay attention), since an honest work of fiction if more useful than whatever it is Moore thinks he's doing.

You're right...actually as soon as I posted that, I realized that "documentary" wasn't exactly the phrase that I was looking for. However, my point was more about the relatively equal treatment of both sides (torture v. bombing) in comparison to the piece of crap that is "Bowling for Columbine".
